 It all began when Norman (now Chairman of the company then photographer) purchased brightly coloured hand painted tiles from a small tile shop he discovered along the Arno in Florence. The street level shop on the southeast corner of Second Avenue and Sixty First Street – in the heart of the decorating world, became the new home of Country Floors and would remain so until the late eighties...
