Country Floors hosted a “Kitchen Talk NYC Session” at our Manhattan showroom. Commentators included Sharon Blaustein, founder and principal designer of B Interior; Dina Deleasa-Gonsar, creator of DishItGirl.com food blog; and Meghan McNeer, Domino magazine visual director, who also moderated the event.

During the talk sessions, Blaustein raved about natural stone and its inherent beauty. “I’m a big fan of natural stone,” she commented. “It’s warm, it’s rich—I love the veining!”.

Our speakers talked about the different trends that they have seen so far for 2018, like for example concrete-like-looking tile to archive a very seamless look with very few grout lines.

Blaustein said that while brass has been popular in the last few years, we are seeing it in entirely new entities. People will still continue with brass but in more minimalistic ways.  Not only does it work very well with neutral palettes and wood, but it’s also warm and complements well with stainless steel.
