There are essentially three classic stone finishes. Most consumers and design professionals are familiar with the polished finish. This is roughly equivalent to a glossy paint.
Honed is the next most recognized finish which more or less equates to a matte paint. Then most folks would be somewhat familiar with a flamed finish which is relatively rough and quite non-slip. Our leathered surface offers a middle ground between flamed and honed. It also closely approximates the visual of natural leather.
