Country Floors Collection

Colibri

The Colibri collection by SICIS brings the depth and shimmer of Italian smalto glass to mosaic surfaces. Metallic-treated backing gives each color a luminous character, while a smooth face and slightly rounded edges define the square chips. The collection includes rich gold, silver and gray tones, making it a choice for both subtle accents and expressive feature walls.

Each paper-face-mounted sheet measures 11 5/8 by 11 5/8 inches and combines 5/8 by 5/8-inch chips at a nominal thickness of 1/8 inch. These compact pieces follow detailed layouts and bring texture to backsplashes, residential and commercial interior walls, shower walls and light-use residential floors. Choose Aldebaran for a gold finish, Alma for silver, or Almenus for a gray palette.

Plan the finish around the application and the lighting in the room. Metallic glass can create changing reflections as the light moves across the surface. For floor installations, confirm the required slip resistance for the project: the manufacturer’s DIN 51097 statement requires at least 25 percent of the installed chips to have Sicis Grip finishing.

Colibri mosaics are made in Italy. Install with epoxy adhesives and grouts, following the manufacturer’s instructions, and maintain with cleaning products formulated for glass. Explore the available colors and order a sample to review the material alongside your other finishes.
