Judging Panel For Country Floors 2nd Annual Kitchen &Bath Tile Design Challenge

We’re so excited to announce that top New York interior designer Jarret Yoshida, Interior Design Society NYC Chapter President Julie Schuster, NYC&G’s Editor in Chief Kendall Cronstrom and Country Floors Product Designer, Omar Torres will be on the 2017 Country Floors 2nd Annual Kitchen & Bath Tile Design judging panel. In the meantime, get to know our judges and remember the entry deadline is March 24th and the design submission deadline on April 14th. Be sure to ENTER on time and have your submission reviewed by this esteemed panel of judges.

 

Jarret Yoshida has used his interior design talent everywhere from Tribeca lofts to Honolulu retreats, having traveled the world to develop his distinct style and unique vision. The New York-based Houzz winner has been featured on Apartment Therapy, My Domaine, American Lifestyle Magazine and interior design authorities, HGTV. “I am honored to be a part of the Tile Design challenge and watch the next generation of emerging designers reach their true potential,” Jarret said of this exciting challenge with Country Floors.

 

Julie Schuster is bringing her expertise to the panel this year as President of the Interior Design Society, New York Chapter saying, “It’s a thrill and an honor to be part of this year’s Country Floors Tile Design Challenge! What an exciting opportunity for emerging design talent to be covered by NYC&G and featured in this beautiful showroom; and all for charity!” Julie has dedicated her designing talents and creativity to industry-wide charity fundraisers and has been featured in House Magazine, Interior Design Magazine and our event sponsors NYC&G

 

Kendall Cronstrom is the editor-in-chief of this year’s event partners, New York Cottages & Gardens Magazine. A veteran of shelter publications, Kendall has previously held editorial positions at ELLE DECOR, House Beautiful and Real Simple. Kendall says he often meets new designers to feature through word-of-mouth and industry parties, so here’s hoping our Country Floors Challenge finalists will all get a look in!

 

Omar Torres is the fourth judge for this year’s Tile Design Challenge. Omar has worked with Country Floors for the last five years where his main focus is designing new collections and also designing new and existing Country Floors and Marble Systems showrooms all over the USA. Omar’s personal style is eclectic and he tries to reflect that in his design delivery, often mixing materials and styles from different eras to create modern yet familiar patterns that resonate with the Country Floors audience.
