About The Slab:
Luz Del Fuego Polished Quartzite Slab Random introduces a rich red color group and a polished surface to contemporary interiors. Its natural quartzite composition and rectangular slab format create a substantial architectural element for spaces that call for expressive material and refined detailing.
Designed for slab applications, this quartzite is suited to residential countertops and residential interior walls. It can also be used for commercial interior walls, extending its visual impact beyond the kitchen into hospitality, retail, and other interior settings. The polished finish brings a reflective quality that highlights the depth of the red tone.
The random size allows the slab to serve as a distinctive surface material across varied layouts, while the straight-cut edge supports clean, controlled lines where the material meets adjacent surfaces. In a bathroom, kitchen, or living room, Luz Del Fuego offers a bold focal point with a modern architectural presence.
With a thickness of 1 1/4, this slab provides a substantial format for custom interior applications. Use it to shape countertops, feature walls, or other tailored installations where the color, scale, and polished finish can be appreciated as part of the overall design.

At Marble Systems, we pride ourselves on offering the highest-quality natural stone slabs, including marble, limestone, quartzite, and travertine. To ensure the beauty and durability of your stone investment, proper installation and ongoing maintenance are essential. Please review the following guidelines before handling or installing any Marble Systems slabs.
1. Slab Inspection & Fabrication
- All slabs must be inspected upon delivery for color variation, veining, structural soundness, and finish quality.
- Any cracks, fissures, or natural features should be reviewed with your fabricator prior to cutting.
- The final layout, cutting, and installation of the countertop or stone application must be determined by a licensed and experienced stone fabricator.
- Bookmatching and vein alignment must be planned prior to fabrication.
2. Installation Guidelines
- All substrates must be level, structurally sound, and properly reinforced for the weight of natural stone.
- Use appropriate backer boards, supports, and adhesive systems recommended for natural stone slabs.
- Expansion joints should be incorporated where applicable.
- Ensure all cutouts (sinks, cooktops, etc.) are properly supported.
- Avoid dragging heavy equipment or materials across the slab surface during install.
3. Sealing & Surface Protection
- All natural stone slabs must be sealed prior to or immediately after installation with a high-quality penetrating sealer appropriate for the stone type.
- Resealing should be performed every 6–12 months, depending on usage and exposure to moisture or staining agents.
- Acidic substances (e.g., citrus juice, vinegar) can etch marble and limestone. Clean spills promptly.
4. Sealing & Surface Protection
- Use pH-neutral, stone-safe cleaners only.
- Avoid abrasive scrubbers or harsh chemicals.
- Use coasters, trivets, and cutting boards to preserve the surface.
- Wipe down countertops daily with a soft cloth or sponge.
